Sunday - Eek! Where did the weekend go?!

Song of the Day: "Ai no Tenshi" - Perfect Blue, "Adieu" - Cowboy Bebop
Quote of the Day: "Man, that is so Intial D." (see below)

Sunday was our I'm-not-getting-up-even-for-a-con Day. *_* We did manage to drag ourselves from bed and put on costumes in time for the Starting a Cosplay Group panel, hosted by members of Acme Boyz, Star Crossed Loves, and Sailor Jamboree.

The panel made Liz and I feel much better about our failed efforts to from a working cosplay group. They talked about how members flaked, how you have to get people you can trust, etc. etc. We were very pleased to know we weren't alone in having those problems and that even organized groups like SJ sometimes do.

Afterwards, I changed back into street clothes. I wasn't in a cosplay mood. I was supposed to be Kaitou Jeanne again, but I was too ashamed of the bad costume to put it back on.

We spent the rest of the con in the dealer's room and then left to get lunch. Then we bid farewell to Steve.

As for the Intial D thing, we're probably the only people in the world who DO NOT LIKE Intial D. That's right. We think it's awful. The plot sucks, the characters are dull, and the CG car is just.... well... laughable. Flame me all you want, but I just can't stand that show. So we've decided the politically correct way to say "ridiculously stupid" or "retarded" is "Intial D." Use it like this: "Hey, did anyone see that new NSync Video on MTV? It's so Intial D."

That night, Megumi and Vilay moved into our room (since their reservations only went until Sunday morning). James and Zach hung around until late, took us to get dinner, and then hung around some more. Finally, they decided it was too late to leave, and they stayed in our room too. But despite the crowd, it was probably the best group of people to share a room with. ^_^
