Ode to the Diplo - my old car

" I drove out of east Atlanta, with a headace the size of my car." - The Marvelous 3

My car was not the best car in the world, but I loved it dearly. Since I forced to sell it, I shall miss it deeply. Quickly, let me list its many nicknames: "Ecto-5" - I named it this when I first got it and was obsessed with Extreme Ghostbuster. Unfortunately, it didn't stick. "The Joker Car" - I believe Jesse called it that. "The Pimp Mobile" - I don't remember who deemed it thus, but it was known as the Pimp Mobile for sometime. "The Diplo" - since it was a Dodge Diplomat, Dietrich perverted the name. This one stuck.

Ode to Diplo

You never worked quite right
but you were always there
Your colors never really matched
but you never seemed to care
And when others tried to insult you,
All you did was stare

The sounds you made could scare a tractor
but at least you got me to school
Sometimes stickers made a car look worse
but on you they were pretty cool
And anyone who would stand in your path
had to be a giant fool

With a cup taped to your roof
you could entertain us all night
While your gas milage was never great
compared to other cars it was all right
And though I never noticed,
a cop pointed out that your brights were very bright

You only took us to Carson City once
but we were all very proud
When your muffler finally gave out,
your engine become extremely loud
And to the little Buddah on your dash board,
all your passengers bowed

Without you to drive us around,
lunch would not have been the same
You proudly bore the Darwin fish
when others said it was lame
Your speakers cracked and sounded bad,
but you seldom heard me complain

600 trips to a far off dumpster
and a million trips into Hell
People honked and threw cups at us
but back at them we'd yell
And we loved you just the same
and in your backseat hung a paper wedding bell

So though you were not perfect
and did not always work
We will always miss you
especially your quirks

Yup. That's the Ode to Diplo. Thanks for reading this far. ^_^
